The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. seeks the following prayers: "a) Grant parole to the Petitioner for a period of 4 weeks for attending his daughter‟s wedding and re-establish his social ties since the Petitioner has been under continuous custody for over 2 years now and has not been granted the benefit of either parole or furlough; b) Pass any other or such further order(s) or direction(s) which this Hon‟ble Court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of the case"

prayer for interim bail is not being pressed and the petitioner may be granted custody parole to attend his daughter‟s marriage scheduled on 19.06.2024 at Sangam Palace, Khata Khedi, Main Road, Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. 5.

Learned Standing Counsel for the State on advance notice, does not oppose the same.

In view of the above, the concerned Jail Superintendent is directed to take the present petitioner in custody parole on the evening of 18.06.2024 to attend the marriage of his daughter as pointed out hereinabove, and is further directed to bring the petitioner back to judicial custody on 19.06.2024 after the marriage ceremony. It is further directed that the officials accompanying the petitioner shall be in civil clothes.

With the aforesaid directions, the petition stands disposed of. 8.

Pending application(s), if any, also stand disposed of. 9.

Order be sent to the concerned Jail Superintendent for necessary information and compliance physically as well as electronically. 9.
