The present petition filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (corresponding to Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973) seeks quashing of FIR No. 841/2020 dated 6th October, 2021, registered under Sections 498A, 406 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at P.S. Khyala, Delhi and all other proceedings emanating therefrom.

Although the order was dictated in open Court, while finalizing the same in chamber, it is noticed that two more accused persons are named in the impugned FIR, namely Sita Devi (mother-in-law of Respondent No. 2) and Priya (sister-in-law of Respondent No. 2). 3.

Let an amended memo of parties be filed in this regard before the next date of hearing.
