O R D E R

% 16.01.2017 Status report of respondent No. 1 states that a work stop notice had been issued for the alleged unauthorized construction being carried out in property bearing No. 4564, Deputy Gang, Sadar Bazar, Delhi. A show cause notice had also been issued qua the aforenoted unauthorized construction which was noted and removal of partition wall and erecting of outer wall and relaying of roof at part of property at ground floor and first floor had also been noted. Copy of the work stop notice and the show cause notice had been filed along with the status report. Learned counsel for the petitioner had however been aggrieved; his submission is that inspite of these notices which were only paper notices, action has not really been taken by the Department. Today, learned counsel for respondent No. 1 under instruction submits that all formalities have been followed and after a demolition order having been passed, necessary action i.e. demolition

program has now been fixed for 27.01.2017. This submission of the learned counsel for respondent No. 1 which has been made under instructions from the authorized representative of the Department is taken on record. It is hoped and expected that this submission of the learned counsel for respondent No. 1 shall be honoured in true letter and spirit. The demolition program as fixed for 27.01.2017 will be executed. The assistance of police (respondent No. 2) shall be taken as is so desired.

Petition disposed of.
