The present bail application is filed under section 439 Cr.P.C. for extension of interim bail for a period of 90 days on behalf of the petitioner/Abhijeet Malik.

Mr. Laksh Khanna, Additional Public Prosecutor assisted by Investigating Officer, SI Hemant, P.S. Paschim Vihar, West accepts notice. 4.

The counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner was earlier granted interim bail vide order dated 17.05.2024 for a period of 30 days from the date of release. Thereafter, the petitioner filed another application for extension of interim bail which was dismissed vide order dated 13.06.2024 by the court of Sh. Satvir Singh Lamba, Vacation Judge, ASJ, West District, Delhi. Mr. Pradeep Rana, Advocate for the petitioner stated that the interim bail was granted vide order dated 17.05.2024 which is The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. expiring today. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent/State objected to the extension of interim bail on the ground that the exams of the petitioner shall be finishing on 28.06.2024. The surgery of the mother has already been performed 08.06.2024. 5.

After considering all facts, the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 17.05.2024 is extended till 10.07.2024 on the terms and conditions as mentioned in the order dated 17.05.2024 passed by the court of Ms. Shefali Barnala Tandon, Ld. Additional Sessions Judge, West District, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi.

The petitioner shall be at liberty to file appropriate application for further extension, if any before the concerned trial court. 7.
