The present petition under Section 10 read with Section 11 read with Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 seeks the following prayers: - "a) Initiate Contempt proceedings and punish the Contemnor for contempt of the Court as he has willfully not complied with the terms & conditions of compromise/settlement deed and the contents of the statement dated 18.12.2003 and the orders dated 07.07.2004 & 18.12.2003.; and/or b) Punish the Contemnor for the act of contempt and award him the maximum punishment by committing him to the prison in terms of Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for willfully not complying with the terms & condition of the settlement deed and standing in complete contravention of his undertaking/solemn affirmation given before the court of Ld.
Additional District Judge, Tis Hazari, New Delhi, in the matter titled as "Simirin Bogra v. Dhruv Bogra" in H.M.A No.969 of 2003; and/or c) Direct the Respondent/Contemnor provide complete details of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
the policies such as nature, name, maturity date, amount taken in the name of Ms. Tareeni and to immediately remit the arrears of maintenance amounting to Rs.8,17,029.88/- (Rupees Eight Lakhs Seventeen Thousand Twenty Nine and Eighty Eight Paise Only); and/or d) Pass such further and other order/s as may be deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case." 3.
On 17.04.2026, this Court passed the following order: - "1.
This hearing has been done through hybrid mode. 2.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent seeks time to place on record additional documents demonstrating the compliance of the order dated 07.07.2004 with respect to the education policy. Let the same be done before the next date of hearing.

List on 08.05.2026."

In pursuance of which, additional affidavit has been placed on record. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submits that he had purchased a policy, namely, ICICI Pru Signature Lifetime Policy (no. 89173925), for the benefit of his daughter. It is further submitted that the policy shall mature on 18.01.2031, however as on 31.03.2026, the maturity value is approximately Rs. 7,27,359.11/- and he is ready and willing to transfer the amount to his daughter's account directly. 5.
In view of the above, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner does not wish to press this petition, as no further compliance is required for. It is further submitted that after such payment there will be no outstanding amount payable from the respondent to the petitioner. 6.
In these circumstances, let the respondent transfer the maturity value of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
the aforesaid policy on the date of transfer directly to the account of his daughter, within a period of 4 weeks from today, the particulars of which has been provided as under: - "Account Name: - Tareeni Bogra Account No.: - 054201075822.
