It is not denied that the anticipatory bail petition earlier filed before this Court was dismissed on 17th May 2024. The SLP filed by the petitioners before the Supreme Court was also dismissed as withdrawn on 27th May 2024. The Supreme Court notes in the said order that the matter had been argued for some time and when the Supreme Court was not inclined to consider the petition on merits, the counsel withdrew the SLP. 2.
Through the present petition, quashing of FIR 164/2024 dated 01st May 2024 at PS Ashok Vihar under Sections 365,323, and 34 IPC has been sought based on a settlement agreement dated 01st June 2024 which has been vehemently denied by the respondent No.2 /complainant, who stated that they had signed the agreement under threat asserted by the father-in-law of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. In these circumstances, the said relief sought by the petitioner cannot be granted.

It is up to the State to ascertain whether the alleged threats were extended or not. The complainant will be at liberty to approach the Investigating Officer/police in this regard.

It is further stated that Section 82, CrPC proceedings have also been initiated against the petitioner.

The petition is therefore unmerited and is dismissed along with pending applications.
