% 24.04.2026 CM APPL. 27274/2026 1.

This application seeks clarification of paragraph 18 of our judgment dated 26.09.2025, whereby we had allowed the writ petition filed by the petitioner herein with the following directions:- "18. Respondent no.1 shall, in case the petitioner was at Serial No.1 of the wait list, send the dossier of the petitioner to the respondent no.2 for processing the appointment of the petitioner in accordance with the relevant rules. The above exercise must be completed by the respondents within a period of six weeks from today."

2.

The limited clarification sought by the petitioner is that the appointment of the petitioner should carry consequential benefits, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. including arrears of pay and allowances, as well as seniority from 09.10.2019, that is, the date of appointment of his counterpart candidates.

3.

Issue notice.

4.

Notice is accepted by the learned counsels mentioned hereinabove on behalf of the respondents.

5.

We have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have perused the contents of the application.

6.

The intent of our judgment dated 26.09.2025 was clear that in case the petitioner is found fit for appointment, on such appointment he would be entitled to notional seniority and notional fixation of pay and allowances from the date that his counterparts, that is, Mr. Pradeep Kumar and Mr. Joginder Singh, were given the said benefits, however, not the actual pay and allowances for the intervening period, as he has not worked during the interregnum.

7.

Clarifying the above, the application is disposed of. NAVIN CHAWLA, J MADHU JAIN, J APRIL 24, 2026/rv/ik The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 29/04/2026 at 14:43:43
