The present application under Section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 („CPC‟) has been filed on behalf of the applicant/ petitioner herein, seeking early hearing of the present matter. 2.

Having heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the present matter is taken up for hearing, today itself. 3.

The application is allowed and accordingly disposed of. W.P.(C) 8706/2024 4.

The present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, has been filed on behalf of the petitioner, praying as follows: The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

"i. Issue a Writ in nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ directing the Respondent No.2 to make immediate arrangement for re-scheduling examination of subject "PSYCHOLOGY" which was missed by the Petitioner on account of the inefficiencies of the Respondent No.2;

ii. Issue a Writ in nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ directing the Respondent No.1 to defer the admission process in undergraduate courses till Petitioner is afforded a fair opportunity to appear for CUET examination of subject "PSYCHOLOGY'' and results thereof is declared" 5.

Issue Notice. Mr. Girindra Kumar Pathak, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of respondent no. 1.

Learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner is a student, who wishes to take admission in respondent no.1 University and wishes to give the re-examination of psychology which the petitioner had missed.

Learned counsel for respondent no. 1 states that the examination is scheduled to be held on 15.07.2024.

This Court has heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties, and has perused the material available on record. 9.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs that the present writ petition be treated as a representation, made on behalf of the petitioner herein, which is to be decided by way of a reasoned order, before conducting the exam, i.e. before 15.07.2024, keeping in mind that the interests of the present petitioner is safeguarded. 10.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Date already fixed i.e. 18.07.2024 stands cancelled.
