The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to the respondent to release the petitioner on parole for a period of three months in FIR No. 210/2010, registered at P.S. Ashok Vihar and FIR No. 270/2010 under Section 392/39734 IPC, registered at P.S. Keshav Puram.

The petitioner states that he was released on interim bail for a period of three weeks on 05.07.2018. He states that his grand-mother is unwell and
requires urgent medical attention. It is also stated that his wife is ailing and requires assistance.

The petitioner has already filed an application for parole with the concerned authorities and the same was received on 04.09.2019. The petitioner's grievance is that the said application has not been considered even though the petitioner requires parole for dealing with the emergent situation.

In view of the averments made in the present petition, this Court directs the concerned authorities to consider the petitioner's application for parole on merits and take an appropriate decision as expeditiously as possible and preferably, within a period of one week from today. 7.
