The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to respondent nos. 1 and 2, to take action against the illegal and unauthorized construction existing in property bearing house nos. 146, 148 and 150, Site2, Vikaspuri, New Delhi-110018. 2.

This Court notes that a Status Report dated 31st August, 2025 has been filed on behalf of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD"), wherein, it is stated as follows:

Perusal of the aforesaid Status Report filed on behalf of the MCD, shows that MCD has already initiated action and hearing is being granted to the owner/occupier of the properties in question. 4.

Accordingly, it is directed that requisite action shall be taken by the MCD, after following the due procedures and in accordance with law. 5.

In case, any of the parties are aggrieved by any action or non-action on the part of the MCD, their rights to seek remedies, in accordance with law, are reserved.

Rights and contentions of all the parties are kept open. 7.

Noting the aforesaid, the present writ petition along with the pending application, is accordingly disposed of.
