By this petition the petitioners had sought protection on the ground that they are major and have married of their own free will contrary to the wishes of respondent No. 2.

On a notice being issued, respondent No. 2 is present in Court along with his counsel. He states that the petitioner No. 1 is major and since she has married of her own free will, neither he nor any of his family members will interfere in the happy married life of the petitioners. 3.

Since there is no apprehension of any threat nor any complaint has been lodged, no further orders are required to be passed. W.P.(CRL) 402/2018
