Learned Counsel appearing for the Appellant submits that the matter has been settled between the parties and the Settlement Agreement dated 22.03.2024 [hereinafter referred to as 'Settlement Agreement'] has been executed before the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre. 2.

Learned Counsel for the Appellant further submits that in terms of the Settlement Agreement, a sum of Rs.10 lakhs has already been paid to the Respondent by cheque and the balance amount to be paid is Rs. 25 lakhs, which stands deposited with the Court.

Learned Counsel further submits that the directions be passed for release of Rs. 25 lakhs in favour of the Respondent. 4.

The Respondent, who appears in person, affirms that he has entered into the Settlement Agreement with the Appellant and that a sum of Rs.10 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. 4.1 The Respondent, in reply to a specific Court query, affirms his signature on the above-mentioned Settlement Agreement and that he has signed the Settlement Agreement of his own accord without any pressure or coercion. The Respondent confirms to the Court that he shall withdraw all pending litigation inter se him and the Appellant, once the amount of Rs.25 lacs is received by him.

In view of the aforegoing, the present Appeal is disposed of in terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 22.03.2024. 6.

The Registry is directed to release the sum of Rs. 25 lakhs along with interest accrued thereon in favour of the Respondent. 7.

The Respondent shall ensure that once the balance amount is received by him, he shall close all pending litigation pending inter se between the parties.

Both parties agree to abide by the terms as contained in the Settlement Agreement.
