The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued the respondent nos. 1 and 2 (SHO, PS Sangam Vihar) to provide the necessary protection to the petitioners. 4.

The petitioners state that they are majors and have married against the wishes of the family members of petitioner no.1. The petitioners are apprehensive of their safety and have stated that they have been threatened

by the family members of petitioner no.1.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondents states that an inquiry had been conducted, however, the petitioners were not found residing at the address given.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners states that the petitioners were not found at the address since they are hiding being fearful for their safety.

In view of the above, the petitioners are directed to appear before the SHO, P.S. Tigri. The SHO shall conduct the necessary inquiries and provide the petitioners such protection as he considers necessary. The SHO shall also provide the contact number of a beat constable/a responsible official who can be contacted by the petitioners in case of any emergency. 8.

No further orders are required to be passed in this petition. 9.

The same is disposed of.
