The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to the respondent to release the petitioner on parole for a period of three months in the case relating to FIR No. 183/2009 under Sections 364A/120B of the IPC registered with P.S. Tilak Marg. 4.

It is the petitioner's case that his mother is required to undergo knee surgery at the Base Hospital, Delhi Cantonment. He claims that his mother is to undergo surgery on 20.09.2019, as she is facing difficulty in her routine work. In this context, the petitioner had applied for parole on 29.08.2019,

however, his application has not been disposed of as yet. 5.

In view of the above, this Court directs the concerned authority to consider the petitioner's application on an urgent basis and take an informed decision as expeditiously as possible, keeping in view the petitioner's statement that his mother is required to be admitted on 20.08.2019 to the hospital for surgery.
