By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the Armed Forces Tribunal1 to expedite the hearing and dispose of OA 858/2019 in a fixed time bound manner preferably within three months.

We are not willing to pass any such directions. 3.

We are unaware of the pendency of proceedings in the AFT and the priority to which this matter would be entitled, given other matters which may be pending before it.

We expect the AFT to decide this matter keeping in mind the priority of matters pending before it and the age of the petitioner's OA vis-a-vis other OAs which may be pending before the AFT. 5.

This order shall, however, not preclude the petitioner, if he so chooses, to move the AFT seeking expedited hearing. 6.

It would be for the AFT to take a call in that regard. Subject to that observation, the writ petition is dismissed. C. HARI SHANKAR, J.
