The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that the interim bail granted to the petitioner be extended for a further period, as he states that his father's surgery is fixed for tomorrow. 4.

In terms of the order dated 13.09.2019, the petitioner was required to surrender on or before 20.09.2019. Since his father's surgery is scheduled tomorrow, the order dated 13.09.2019 is modified to the extent that the period of bail be increased from 6 (six) days to 8 (eight) days. The petitioner is now directed to surrender on or before 23.09.2019.
