Learned counsel appearing for the parties jointly submit that similar controversy has been decided by this court in terms of the order dated 22.05.2024 passed in W.P.(C) 7090/2024 and they, therefore, submit that the instant petition be also decided with the similar directions. 4.

Having gone through the contents of the writ petition and the nature of the directions which came to be issued by this court on 22.05.2024 in W.P.(C) 7090/2024, this court deems it appropriate to direct the Municipal The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Corporation of Delhi to jointly inspect the property in question along with respondent No.1 and if no misuse is found to be subsisting therein, immediate steps shall be taken to intimate respondent No.1 for restoration of electricity connection of the petitioner.

Let the aforesaid exercise be done within a period of seven days from today and if there is no impediment in restoration of the electricity connection, the necessary communication shall also be sent to respondent No.1 immediately thereafter.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, however, submits that in W.P.(C) 6697/2024, it has come on record on 13.05.2024 that the same property being Plot No.2354/175, Ganesh Pura, Tri Nagar, Delhi-110035 has already been inspected and some of the electricity connection with respect to the aforesaid plot have already been restored. 7.

Let the respondents to consider the aforesaid aspect and if they feel that there already exists a report with respect to the property in question, they may consider to waive off the period of seven days and to take an immediate action in accordance with law.

Needless to state that the petitioner shall submit an undertaking/affidavit, as maybe sought by respondent No.1 or respondent No.2, to ensure that there is no misuse of the property in question. 9.

With the aforesaid directions, the petition stands disposed of alongwith the pending applications.
