After some hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file afresh, assailing the jurisdictional basis of the impugned action taken by concerned authorities under the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of property), Act 1976 (SAFEMA).

The petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. The pending application also stands disposed of. 3.
