The present petition has been filed by petitioner seeking following reliefs:

"(i) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction directing Respondent No. 1 to examine and notify a dedicated purpose code under the Reserve Bank of India's Foreign Exchange Management classification system for inward remittances pertaining to academic prize money or educational awards received from foreign institutions; (ii) Direct Respondent No. 1 to initiate regulatory amendments addressing the classification of such inward remittances; (iii) Direct the Respondents to treat all such remittances uniformly across all banks and financial institutions in the country to promote academic and professional dignity of Indian The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Mr. Shishir Prakash, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner submits that petitioner had been awarded an academic monetary prize by the University of London.

However, remittance of same was prevented due to absence of a specific purpose code for such remittance. 3.

He submits that after filing of the present petition, petitioner has received the appropriate purpose code which is 1099, therefore, the relief sought in the present petition has been satisfied. 4.

In view of the above, he submits that present writ petition may be disposed of.

Accordingly, petition is disposed of as satisfied. 6.

Pending application also stands disposed of.
