Writ Petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner seeking extension of Parole for further period of 06 weeks, which is expiring on 05.06.2025 on the medical urgency of the Petitioner's wife.

It is submitted in the Petition that the Petitioner's wife has gone through a major surgery on 10.05.2025 ad she needs post operative full time care and assistance. There is none in the family to take care of the wife, who is bedridden and requires special care and attention. Hence, the extension of Parole by another 06 weeks is sought.

been done on 10.05.2025 and 03 weeks have since already elapsed. Considering the nature of surgery and the period of rehabilitation and recovery, which she has already received, no special circumstances are made out for extension of Parole.
