By the present petition, the petitioner seeks protection of her life and liberty from her father and uncle, that is, Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 respectively.

It is the case of the petitioner that her father is trying to get her married against her will.

The petitioner is about 22 years of age.

The petitioner is present in Court today and states that she is no longer residing with her father.

The petitioner is at liberty to give a complaint to the Police in case she feels any threat to her life and liberty. 6.

The learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State, at the outset, submits that the petitioner would be provided with the phone number of the Beat Officer and she is at liberty to make a call on that phone number as and when she apprehends any threat to her life and liberty. He further submits that as and when any such call is received, immediate action will be taken without any delay.

He submits that the petitioner is also at liberty to approach the concerned SHO and give a complaint, on which the action will be taken promptly in accordance with law. 9.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in the present case.

Needless to state that the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Court / Authorities in case any grievance remains in future. 11.
