This petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of BNSS 2023 has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of habeas corpus or any other writ to trace and produce the daughter of the petitioner namely, Ms. Palak Gupta, before this Court and also simultaneously to handover her custody to the petitioner, who is her father. 2.

In pursuance of the order dated 30.05.2025, Ms. Palak Gupta has been produced before this Court.

This Court has interacted with the daughter of the Petitioner. Kumar/Respondent No.5 herein and is presently residing with him happily. She has also informed the Court that she is not feeling good in her parents' house i.e. Petitioner and she wishes to continue to reside with her husband at Faridabad and they plan to continue reside there for some more time. 4.

Statement of Ms. Palak Gupta, as recorded, is taken on record and marked as Exhibit A.

The Birth Certificate dated 13.05.2010 disclosing her date of birth as 05.02.2006 is also taken on record and is marked as Exhibit B. 6.

We have also interacted with the Petitioner, who states that he is satisfied with the fact that his daughter has been produced before this Court and that she is well and in good health.

Petitioner and his wife also state that they will not cause any kind of disturbance in the marital life of Ms. Palak Gupta and Respondent no.5. 8.

In that view of the matter, the present petition seeking issuance of a writ of habeas corpus is disposed of.
