Present contempt petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 09th October, 2020 passed by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate ("MM") Mahila Court, South East, Saket District Courts, New Delhi, whereby the respondent was directed to pay an amount of Rs. 90,000/- per month to the petitioner from the date of filing of the complaint dated 29th June, 2020. The said amount of maintenance was directed to be paid to the petitioner on or before 10th of each month by depositing the same directly in the bank account of the petitioner. 2.
Learned counsel for respondent submits that up to date payments till st December, 2023 have already been released in favour of the petitioner. He further submits that cheques are being handed over to the petitioner towards the amount as directed to be paid to the petitioner. He further submits that sometimes advance payments are also made to the petitioner. However, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it is only when the petitioner has approached the Court with respect to implementation of order dated 09th October, 2020 passed by the learned MM Mahila Court, South East, Saket District Courts, New Delhi that the payments are released to the petitioner. Thus, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that payments ought to be released to the petitioner on or before 10th of each month in terms of the order dated 09th October, 2020.

Learned counsel for respondent submits that the order dated 09 October, 2020 passed by the learned MM, Mahila Court, South East, Saket District Courts, New Delhi shall be followed in letter and spirit. 5.
Recording the aforesaid statement on behalf of the respondent, the present contempt petition is disposed of.

It is expected that the respondent shall comply with the directions as contained in the aforesaid order dated 09th October, 2020 and release the payments to the petitioner diligently on or before 10th of each month in terms thereof.
