By way of the present petition, the petitioner seeks protection from her parents. Petitioner claims that she is major and has married against her parents' wishes.

Petitioner is concededly not residing with her parents. She is at liberty to approach the concerned Beat Officer / SHO in case she feels any threat to her life or liberty.

The learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State submits that a complaint was received only yesterday in regard to the petitioner apprehending threat from her parents. He submits that the petitioner would be provided the phone number of the Beat Officer and she would be at liberty to call the concerned officer in case she feels any real threat to her life and liberty. 4.
He further submits that as when any such complaint is received, prompt action will be taken. complaint is made by the petitioner in future in regard to commission of any cognizable offence, appropriate action would be taken without any delay. He submits that the Beat Officer would also be sensitized in that regard.

Considering the above, no orders are required to be passed at this stage.

Petitioner is at liberty to approach concerned authorities / Court in case any grievance remains in future. 7.
The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 8.
Pending application also stands disposed of.
