The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 309 Cr.P.C. praying for issuance of directions to the learned Trial Court to conclude the trial expeditiously in case FIR No.742/2007 under Sections 364A/302/201/419/468/471 IPC, PS Prashant Vihar. 2.

Heard.

It is mentioned in the petition itself that out of the total 74 witnesses, 66 witnesses have already been examined by the prosecution. Alongwith W.P.(CRL) 420/2016

this petition, copy of the proceedings dated 24.11.2015 before learned Trial Court has also been annexed which reveals that the next dates of hearing fixed in the matter are 17.02.2016 and 18.02.2016 for remaining PE. 4.

Since substantial number of witnesses have already been examined and the learned Trial Court is already taking steps to conclude the trial expeditiously by fixing two consecutive dates, as reflected from the copy of the proceedings dated 24.11.2015, no direction is required to be issued by this Court in exercise of extra ordinary jurisdiction vested under Article 226 of Constitution of India.

Writ petition is dismissed.
