The present Appeal has been filed by the Appellant assailing the correctness of the order dated 20.05.2023 [hereinafter referred to as 'Impugned Order'] passed by the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, North East District, Karkardooma Court, Delhi in HMA No.562/2021 captioned Ravi Kumar vs. Reetu Kumari. 2.

The Family Court had directed the Appellant to pay maintenance pendente lite @ Rs.20,000/- p.m. to the Respondent and her child, who is 05 years old.

The Appellant is presently working as Assistant Sub-Inspector in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and earning a monthly income of Rs.71,289/-.

Learned counsel representing the Appellant submits that being the only child of his parents, the Appellant has a lot of responsibilities and he has also contributed financially towards the marriage of his sister for which he had taken a loan and EMIs are being paid by him The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. on regular basis.

This Court has considered the submissions and observes that the Appellant has a responsibility towards his wife and child and vide Impugned Order, the Family Court has only directed the Appellant to pay only Rs.20,000/- p.m.

Keeping in view the aforegoing, this Court does not find any reason to interfere with the Impugned Order.

Hence, the present Appeal, along with pending application, stands dismissed.
