% 27.02.2018 By this petition, petitioner has prayed for quashing of FIR No. 248/2016 under Section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003 registered at police station Malviya Nagar in view of the compromise arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2. Counsel for the respondent no.2 admits that matter has indeed been settled between the petitioner and respondent no.2, inasmuch as, settled amount stands paid by the petitioner to the respondent no.2. He further submits that respondent no.2 has no objection in case FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the

consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
