The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR bearing No. 0162/2019 under Sections 354/506 of the IPC registered with P.S. Farsh Bazar and all other proceedings emanating therefrom, be quashed.

The said FIR was registered at the instance of respondent no.2. She had, inter alia, complained that the petitioner has been pursuing her. It is submitted that the petitioner and respondent no.2 have since settled their disputes and do not have any grievance against each other. 3.
Respondent no.2 is present in Court and she states that her differences with the petitioner are settled and she has no further grievance against the petitioner. She joins the petitioner in his prayer to quash the said FIR.

The petitioner is also present in Court. He is identified by his counsel. He also states that his differences with respondent no.2 are settled. He undertakes to this Court that respondent no.2 would be treated with due respect and would have no further occasion for any complaint on account of his conduct.

In view of the statements made by the petitioner and respondent no.2, this Court considers it apposite to allow the present petition. Accordingly, FIR bearing no. 0162/2019 under Sections 354/506 of the IPC registered with P.S. Farsh Bazar and all proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed.
