CORAM:

HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE INDERMEET KAUR

O R D E R

% 09.02.2018 Petitioner is seeking extension of his parole which had been granted to him by the Competent Authority vide order dated 23.01.2018. This parole had been granted to him for a period of two weeks. The said two weeks will be expiring on or before 15.02.2018. The reason for extension of the parole is that the mother of the petitioner is seriously unwell; she had in fact been admitted to the hospital in the ICU ward between 21.01.2018 to 25.01.2018; she is a kidney patient and in undergoing dialysis regularly. This factual position stands admitted. The medical papers of the mother of the petitioner are also a part of record.

As noted supra, the medical condition of the mother not being disputed, this is a fit case where the petitioner be granted extension of

another two weeks of parole which shall be on the same terms and conditions mentioned in the earlier order. Needless to state that on the expiry of the period of two weeks, the petitioner shall surrender forthwith.

Petition disposed of in the above terms.

INDERMEET KAUR, J FEBRUARY 09, 2018 SU
