% 18.07.2017 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, New Delhi on 5th November, 2016, therefore, FIR No. 359/08 under Sections 323/341/506/452/34 IPC registered at police station Sangam Vihar may be quashed.

Certified copy of the proceedings of the Mediation Centre containing terms of settlement have been placed on record as Annexure-B. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and admits having settled the matter with the petitioner before the Mediation Centre of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. He submits that he is not willing to pursue the FIR and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2 before the Mediation Centre and the facts that respondent no.2 does not wish to pursue the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 359/08 under Sections 323/341/506/452/34 IPC registered at police station Sangam Vihar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
