The writ petition assails orders of the respondent - State Bank of India ["Bank"] by which the petitioner has been declared to have voluntarily vacated his office in the Bank, and an order dated 05.03.2024 by which his appeal was rejected.

A preliminary objection has been raised by the respondent that this Court does not have territorial jurisdiction to entertain the present writ petition.

liberty to approach the jurisdictional High Court on the same cause of action.

However, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed a review application dated 01.05.2025 before the Reviewing Authority.

Mr. Jayant Bhushan, learned Senior Counsel for the Bank, submits that no review is maintainable against an order with regard to voluntary vacation of service. In fact, he submits that an earlier review application dated 18.03.2024 filed by the petitioner was disposed of on this ground on 29.03.2025, which has not been assailed in the present writ petition. 6.

In these circumstances, the writ petition is dismissed, with liberty to approach the jurisdictional Court. However, it is made clear that, in the event the Rules permit the filing of a review application, this order will not come in the way of the Bank from considering the petitioner's review application.

Pending application also stands disposed of.
