These petitions have been filed seeking quashing of the cross FIR, that is, FIR No. 416/2018, registered with Police Station: Nangloi, New Delhi under Sections 395/354B/323/325/341/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (in short, 'IPC') and FIR No.415/2018 registered at Police Station:

Nangloi, under Sections 392/365/323/341/506/34 of the IPC.

It appears that the FIRs stemmed out of a fight amongst the neighbours.

The parties have amicably settled their disputes and jointly request for quashing of their respective FIRs. 4.

The complainants are personally present in Court and have been duly identified by the IO.

Keeping in view the above facts and the judgments of the Supreme Court in State of Haryana & Ors. Vs. Bhajan Lal & Ors. 1992 Supp(1) SCC 335 and Gian Singh v. State of Punjab, (2012) 10 SCC 303 and in the peculiar facts, I find that no useful purpose would be served in continuing with the criminal proceedings. 6.

Accordingly, FIR No. 416/2018, registered at Police Station: Nangloi, under Sections 395/354B/323/325/341/506/34 of IPC and FIR.415/2018 registered at Police Station: Nangloi, under Sections 392/365/323/341/506/34 of IPC, along with all other proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed qua the petitioners. 7.

Each of the petitioners shall deposit costs of Rs.10,000/- with Saket Bar Association, to be invested towards upgradation of the Library of the said District.
