% 05.09.2024 CS(OS) 649/2021 & I.A. 38496/2024 (by the plaintiff under Order XXIII Rule 1 read with Section 151 CPC for withdrawal of the suit) 1.

The present suit has been filed praying for damages alleging that defamatory remarks have been made by the plaintiff in the plaint filed in CS(OS) 287/2021.

The matter has been settled between the parties vide Agreement dated 28.08.2024, which has been placed on record along with the application. 3.

In view of the above settlement, learned counsel for the plaintiff seeks to withdraw the present suit.

The suit is dismissed as withdrawn. All the pending applications, if any, stands disposed of.

5.

The date already fixed as 16.10.2024 before the Joint Registrar stands cancelled.
