The Petitioners had filed the instant petition apprehending threat from Respondents Nos. 2 to 4, who allegedly opposed their marriage. In these circumstances, the Petitioners sought directions to Respondent No. 1 to grant protection to their life and liberty.

The Investigating Officer, PSI Aashish Tushir of Police Station Pandav Nagar, states that he has communicated with Petitioner No. 1, who is currently residing in Bihar with the family of Petitioner No. 2. Petitioner No. 2 is employed in Dubai. He further states that Respondents Nos. 2 to 4, against whom the threat is perceived, are also not residents of Delhi. 3.

None of the parties are present before the Court today. connection through which she can join the proceedings via video conferencing.

Be that as it may, since neither the Petitioners nor Respondents Nos. 2 to 4 are presently within the jurisdiction of this Court, and considering that the instant petition was filed when the Petitioners were perhaps in Delhi, the Court finds no grounds to issue any further directions at this stage. 5.

It is, however, clarified that if any of the Petitioners are in Delhi and apprehend any threat from Respondents Nos. 2 to 4, they shall be at liberty to approach the concerned police station for protection. Upon receipt of such complaint, the police station shall, after conducting a threat perception analysis, take appropriate measures to provide protection to the Petitioners, if deemed necessary, in accordance with law.
