Joint Commissioner of Police (JCP) Mr. Rajesh Khurana along with the DCP Mandeep Randhawa, SHO and IO is present. Joint Commissioner of Police submitted that he has already taken action against the erring officials and assured that such lapse shall not take place in future. A compliance report/explanation has already been filed on the record. JCP also assured that all the necessary instructions shall be passed to the officials of his area and the copy of the instructions shall be placed on the record within two weeks. 2.

Accordingly, the presence of JCP, DCP and SHO is dispensed with. SHO/IO are warned to remain careful in future. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he may be allowed to withdraw the petition. Accordingly, the petition is

dismissed as withdrawn. Pending application is also dismissed as withdrawn.

It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petition.
