By virtue of the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Cr.P.C.), petitioner seeks quashing of the FIR No.124/2020 dated 08.03.2020 registered at PS.: IGI Airport, Delhi under Sections 419/420/468/471/120B IPC of the of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (IPC) and Section 12 of the Passport Act, 1976. 2.
At the outset, learned ASC for the State submits that the petitioner herein is neither named in the present FIR nor in the charge-sheet as well. She further submits that the present is a case wherein Section 82, Cr.P.C. (presently Section 84 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023) proceedings have been initiated against him in FIR No. 183/2023 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
