The present proceedings are instituted on behalf of the petitioner seeking quashing of FIR No. 470/2013 registered under Sections 323 /327/330/341/348/354/357/386/389/506/509/34/120B IPC and Sections 3(1)(VIII),(IX),(XII)(XV)/3(2),(I)(V),(VI) of SC&ST Act at P.S. Burari, Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes. 2.

As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, 10-12 unidentified persons gave beatings, made cast based remarks and spit on respondent No.2 on instructions of the petitioner.

Learned APP for the State, on instructions, submits that the petitioner is one of the accused persons and respondent No.2 is the complainant/victim in the present case. Learned counsels for the parties submit that the petitioner and respondent No. 2 have amicably settled their disputes vide Compromise Deed dated 09.05.2024, a copy of which has been placed on record. 5.

The petitioner and respondent No.2, who are present in Court, have been identified by their respective counsel as well as the I.O./ SI Rajeev, P.S. Burari. Petitioner has shown remorse for her conduct and undertakes not to repeat the same in future.

Respondent No. 2 states that he has entered into the settlement with the petitioner out of his own free will, volition and without any coercion. He further states that he has no objection if the present FIR and consequent proceedings are quashed.

It is informed that cross FIR No. 160/2013 registered under Sections 509/34 IPC on behalf of the present petitioner, has also been quashed by this Court vide today's order passed in CRL.M.C. 6846/2024. 8.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and considering that no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed qua the present petitioner only.
