Petition seeks modification of order dated 3rd July 2024 passed by this Cout on the basis that petitioner is a school teacher in a Government School having limited pay and is paying heavy loan instalments for loan amount taken for treatment of his parents, who are cancer patients, and is therefore, unable to pay arrears of maintenance.

Counsel for petitioner points out that as per order dated 20th January 2024, an offer had been made by petitioner-husband to respondent-wife to join his company again in the matrimonial home. Respondent-wife stated that she was ready to join. The Trial Court noted that both parties were ready to stay together. However subsequently, respondent-wife refused to do so. An application for the same was moved by petitioner for compliance of said settlement.

maintenance issue, preferably within 6 months' time. 4.
