On 13.01.2026, the Court had noted the submissions made on behalf of the petitioners and had directed respondent nos. 2 and 3 to take instructions as to whether the cases of the petitioners can be re-considered or otherwise.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent nos. 2 and 3, on instructions, submits that the said respondents are open to reconsider the cases of the petitioners for re-issuance of OCI Card. 3.

In view of the aforesaid, respondent nos. 2 and 3 are directed to reconsider the petitioners' entitlement for re-issuance of OCI Card in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

Needless to state that, if the grievance of the petitioners' is not fully mitigated, they are at liberty to file fresh petitions. 5.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant petitions stand disposed of.
