This petition is filed seeking quashing of FIR No.514/2013 registered under Sections 354/341/323/509/34 IPC at P.S. Hauz Khas, on the basis of settlement arrived at between the parties on 1st April 2024, which is on record of this Court.

Petitioner nos. 1 to 5 and respondent nos. 2 and 3 are present in the Court, in person as also through video conferencing, duly identified by the IO as also by their respective counsels.

Parties state that a quarrel had taken place between them on 6th November 2013 on issue of parking and thereafter aforementioned FIR was registered at behest of complainants who are respondents nos. 2 and 3. It is submitted that parties have now settled their disputes as the complainants The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. are no longer interested in pursuing this case any further. 4.

It is noted that charge-sheet was filed in 2013 and charges were framed in 2016; trial has already started and the matter is listed for statement of accused.

Petitioners undertake not to indulge in any such acts in future and are ready to deposit a sum of Rs.20,000/- each with Delhi Police Welfare Fund within a period of 6 weeks from today.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, FIR No.514/2013 registered under Sections 354/341/323/509/34 IPC at P.S.Hauz Khas and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 8.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications are disposed of as infructuous.
