The petitioner has filed the present application seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 0549/2018 under Section 420 of the IPC registered at P.S. Karol Bagh, Delhi.

Although the petitioner is not named in the FIR, however, the disclosure statement made by one Mr Murlidhar Sharma, who is the accused, indicates that the petitioner is also involved in the said offence. The status report has been filed, which states that the petitioner has not joined the investigation as yet. It is also stated that the petitioner is involved in several

other cases.

In view of the above, this Court does not consider it apposite to allow the present application. The same is dismissed. VIBHU BAKHRU, J SEPTEMBER 18, 2019 pkv
