This petition has been filed by the Petitioner seeking the following relief against the Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT): "a) Issue a writ, order or direction quashing the impugned order dated 09.04.2024 (Annexure-P/1), and directing the Respondent to lift the debarment of seven years on the Petitioner from taking the Examination" 2.

Mr. Aayush Agarwala, on instruction, seeks to withdraw the petition with liberty to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal in view of the judgment of the Constitution Bench of the Supreme Court in L. Chandra Kumar v. Union of India and Others, (1997) 3 SCC 261. 3.
