The present petition seeks a direction for registration of the decree dated 15th September, 2014 passed by this Court in CS(OS) 2791/2014.1 The decree has not been registered on account of lapse of time. 2.

Mr. Karan Bhardwaj, ASC for Respondent, has pointed out that the petition does not spell out any cause of action for this Court to entertain the present petition as the Petitioners, at the first instance, have not even applied for registration under Section 17 of the Registration Act, 1908. 3.

In response, counsel for Petitioners, states that he would be satisfied if the Court were to dispose of the petition with a direction to Respondents to adjudicate on Petitioners' application in a time bound manner. 1 titled "Pramod Kumar v. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of with following directions:

(a) Petitioners shall move an application for registration of decree dated 15th September, 2014 within a period of 15 days from today. (b) Such an application, as and when filed, shall be decided in four weeks' time by Respondent authority, in accordance with law. 5.

The Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case. All rights and contentions of parties are left open. 6.
