The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR No. 135/2016 under Sections 498-A/406/34 of the IPC read with Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 registered at P.S. Harsh Vihar be quashed.

The present petition is premised on the on the averments that the petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes in terms of a settlement dated 05.04.2016 arrived at before the Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi. However, it appears that respondent no. 2 is not supporting the present petition. She is also not present in Court today. Moreover, the settlement dated 05.04.2016, which is relied upon by the petitioners, is not annexed with the present petition. 3.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed with liberty to

the petitioners to file afresh, enclosing therewith all relevant documents including the settlement deed dated 05.04.2016. VIBHU BAKHRU, J SEPTEMBER 19, 2019 pkv
