Revision Petition under Sections 438/442 read with Section 528 BNSS has been filed on behalf of Petitioner challenging the impugned Judgment dated 09.06.2025 passed by learned ASJ, Tis Hazari Courts, Criminal Appeal No. 63/2023, whereby the Judgment dated and Order on Sentence dated 23.01.2023 and 16.02.2023 of learned M.M.-01, Tis Hazari Courts in Ct. Case 9259/2017 has been upheld. 2.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner has handed over a Demand Draft of Rs.1,20,000/- to Respondent No.2 bearing DD No.726241 drawn on Punjab National Bank, Gokhale Market Branch in favour of Respondent No.2. This amount is equivalent to the amount of which the cheque had been issued. 3.

This DD is duly accepted by Respondent No.2 / Complainant, who is present in person before the Court and has been identified by the I.O. He further submits that since he has revived the principal amount, he has no objection to the compounding and quashing of the Complaint in question. Submissions heard and record perused.

Petitioner had been convicted under Section 138 NI Act and was directed to pay Rs.1,60,000/- (in default of payment of same to undergo SI for 04 months).

The matter has now been amicably settled, as Petitioner has paid principal amount of cheque, i.e. Rs.1,20,000/- today. 6.

Considering the totality of the circumstances, the impugned Judgment dated 09.06.2025 passed by learned ASJ, Tis Hazari Courts, Criminal Appeal No. 63/2023 is set aside and the Complaint is compounded. The Petitioner is hereby, acquitted.
