This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- "1. Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other suitable writ or orders or directions thereby directing the respondents to hand over the physical possession of flat no. 720 Block - D Pocket 11 Locality Jasola, Delhi , which was allotted to the petitioner vide File No. J/321/(204) 2007/ JHRS/JL & Vide Intimation Letter No. Block Dated 8/8/2007-15- 25/8/2007.
2. Pass an order/ orders thereby directing the respondents to hand over any other flat of similar nature in the same vicinity i.e. Janta Flat if the flat no. 720 Block - D Pocket 11 Locality Jasola, Delhi, which was allotted to the petitioner vide File No. J/321/(204) 2007/ JHRS/JL & Vide Intimation Letter No. Block Dated 8/8/2007-15- 25/8/2007 has been cancelled reason whatsoever.

Pass an order / orders thereby directing the respondents to hand over the physical possession of flat no. 720 Block - D The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Pocket 11 Locality Jasola, Delhi, which was allotted to the petitioner vide File No. J/321/(204) 2007/ JHRSJLN & Vide Intimation Letter No. Block Dated 8/8/2007-15- 25/8/2007 or any other flats at the same terms and conditions as mentioned in File No. J/321/(204) 2007/ JHRS/JL at the same amount, which is deposited by the petitioner before DDA officials." 2.
The learned counsel for the petitioner, at this stage, only seeks refund of money paid for Flat No. 720 Block - D, Pocket 11, Locality Jasola, Delhi, which amounts to about Rs. 2,98,642/-. 3.
Ms. Singh, learned counsel for the DDA states that the amount will be refunded except for a sum of Rs. 5,000/- which the respondent deducts in terms of its policy.

The same is acceptable to the learned counsel for the petitioner. 5.
The petitioner shall visit the office of Housing Department of the DDA on 13.03.2026, wherein the amount of Rs. 2,98,642 - Rs. 5,000 = Rs. 2,93,642 shall be paid to the petitioner by a Demand Draft. 6.
Mr. Singh, learned counsel also states that the petitioner is not claiming any interest.
