The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to respondents to provide electricity connection to the property of the petitioner bearing House no. 1584, situated at Gali Peepal Wali, Pahari Bhojla, Chitli Qabar, Jama Masjid, Delhi-110006.

This Court notes that vide order dated 15th July, 2025, this Court had noted as follows:

"1. Learned counsel for respondent nos. 1 and 2 submits that the electricity connection of the property bearing House no. 1584, situated at Gali Peepal Wali, Pahari Bhojla, Chitti Qabar, Jama Masjid, Delhi-110006, has already been restored. However, the said fact, is disputed by learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. Mr. S.S. Nizami, Advocate puts in appearance and submits that an application has been filed on behalf of the actual owner of the property in question.

The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

3. He submits that the petitioner is neither owner nor occupier of the property in question.

4. The aforesaid statement is also disputed by learned counsel for the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, let the application filed by Mr. S.S. Nizami, Advocate be brought forth before this Court.

6. In the meanwhile, respondent nos. 1 and 2- B.S.E.S Yamuna Power Ltd., is directed to file its response/Status Report to the present petition, within a period of two weeks from today.

7. Response, if any, be filed within a period of one week, thereafter.

8. Re-notify on 20th August, 2025."

Learned counsel for the respondents-BSES Yamuna Power Limited reiterates the fact that the electricity connection of the property in question has been restored.

He submits that regular bills are being generated, against the electricity meter bearing CA No. 154682360, in the name of the petitioner, which as per learned counsel for the respondents-BSES Yamuna Power Limited, is active as on date.

However, at this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that wires from the meters are still to be connected on account of which the petitioner is not able to get the electricity in his house. 6.

Accordingly, it is directed that the concerned officials from the BSES Yamuna Power Limited, shall visit the premises of the petitioner as aforesaid, on 16th September, 2025, i.e., Tuesday, at 11:00 AM. 7.

In case need be, the concerned officials of the BSES shall also take assistance from the Local Police at the time of visiting the premises of the petitioner and do the needful. In case such assistance is prayed by the concerned officials of the BSES, the local police shall forthwith provide such assistance.

This Court takes note of the submissions made by learned counsel for the applicant in CM APPL. 53351/2025.

Learned counsel for the petitioner disputes the submissions made by learned counsel for the applicant.

It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the issue as regards the title/ownership/possession of the property in question. 11.

Rights and contentions of both the parties are left open, to be decided in appropriate proceedings.

It is clarified that no special equities shall be conferred upon the petitioner on the basis of the present order. 13.
