The present petition seeks the following prayers: "(a) issue an appropriate writ order or directions to the respondent no.1 & 2 to release the payment of gratuity in favour of the L.Rs of the deceased petitioner who was working as part time teacher with respondent no.1 Punjabi Academy.

(b) pass any such other order(s) or further order (s) and or direction (s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

And for such an act of kindness your petitioners shall ever grateful as in duty bound."
