CRL.M.C. 5034/2024 has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C for quashing of FIR No.34/2019 dated 02.02.2019, registered at Police Station Hauz Khas, Delhi for the offence punishable under Sections 380/411/120B/34 of IPC. 2.

CRL.M.C. 4912/2024 has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C for quashing of FIR No.309/2019 dated 03.12.2019, registered at Police Station Hauz Khas, Delhi for the offence punishable under Sections 498A/406/323/34 of IPC.

CRL.M.C. 4888/2024 has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C for quashing of FIR No.144/2022 dated 03.03.2022, registered at Police Station Hauz Khas, Delhi for the offence punishable under Sections 308/195A/34 of IPC.

Material on record indicates that it is primarily a matrimonial dispute between the Petitioner/husband in CRL.M.C. 4912/2024 and CRL.M.C. 4888/2024 and his wife Ms. Chandani Dugar who is the complainant in CRL.M.C. 4888/2024.

Material on record discloses that the matter was referred to Mediation Centre, Saket Courts and the matter has been amicably settled between the parties vide Settlement Agreement dated 15.03.2024. All the parties are present in Court today. The parties have been identified by their respective Counsel and the Investigating Officer. The balance sum of Rs.30,00,000/- by way of demand draft has been handed over by the Petitioner/husband in CRL.M.C. 4912/2024 and CRL.M.C. 4888/2024 to the complainant/wife today in the course of hearing which has been acknowledged by the complainant/wife. The complainant/wife states that she has settled all her matrimonial disputes with the Petitioner out of her own free will, without pressure, coercion or undue influence and states that she does not want to pursue with the present case any further. The parties undertake that they will remain bound by the terms of the settlement arrived at between them before Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, New Delhi. 7.

The parties who are present in Court understand the implication of the present proceedings. In view of the fact that it is a matrimonial dispute and a settlement has been arrived at between the parties, and the possibility of conviction is extremely remote, this Court is satisfied that no useful purpose would be served in continuing with the present proceedings. Resultantly, FIR No.34/2019 dated 02.02.2019, registered at Police Station Hauz Khas, Delhi for the offence punishable under Sections 380/411/120-B/34 of IPC, FIR No.309/2019 dated 03.12.2019, registered at Police Station Hauz Khas, Delhi for the offence punishable under Sections 498A/406/323/34 of IPC and FIR No.144/2022 dated 03.03.2022, registered at Police Station Hauz Khas, Delhi for the offence punishable under Sections 308/195A/34 of IPC and the proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed. The parties shall remain bound by the terms of the settlement and the undertaking given to the Court.
