This petition is filed for quashing of FIR No.856/2021 under Sections 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act registered at Police Station Bindapur, on grounds of settlement between the parties on 28th June 2024, which is on record of this Court.

Petitioner nos. 1 to 5 and respondent no.2, complainant are present in the Court and are duly identified by the IO, as also by their respective counsels.

Respondent no.2 confirms the factum of settlement with the petitioners and states that he has no objection to quashing of the FIR. 4.

continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. 5.

Accordingly, the petition is allowed and FIR No.856/2021 under Sections 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act registered at Police Station Bindapur and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. 6.

Petition stands disposed of.
